You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist staff and visitors with clear, professional communication. Working as part of a team, you will document observations, respond to calls for service, and represent our agile, reliable, innovative culture that puts people first and always acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution office tower location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, common spaces, parking areas and the building perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and lobby activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and assist with visitor and/or contractor check-in in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate unusual conditions to appropriate personnel, and operate security-related systems such as radios, CCTV monitors and/or alarm panels as required by the post.
