Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will use a computer and/or tablet to document activity, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver customer service with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, innovative approach.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access control points by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, directing deliveries to designated receiving areas, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs per site policy.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate key observations during shift transitions, and use Allied Universal reporting tools to support security-related operations.
