Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card/license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel property, including lobbies, corridors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
Monitor access points and common areas, assist with guest directions and inquiries, and help to support a professional atmosphere across the location.
Support hotel operations during high-traffic periods, special events, and/or after-hours activity by maintaining a visible presence and communicating security-related issues, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
