As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with calm communication and customer-focused service while documenting observations and responding to concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.89 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, reporting concerns, and/or requesting additional resources as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, corridors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, as permitted by post orders and the environment.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or hazards, documenting observations and communicating updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents, patrol activity, and other security-related events, and assist with investigations by preserving information and coordinating with on-site leadership and/or local authorities when directed.
