As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and incident response. You will document observations using computer and/or tablet tools, communicate clearly with team members and site leadership, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and maintain visitor and vehicle logs according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, injuries, and/or equipment-related events, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed reports on security-related activities, incidents, patrol observations, and/or policy violations, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers.
