As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control with badge verification. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver professional customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a technology and telecommunications location by following site-specific, security-related procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per Allied Universal and site requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor CCTV and/or alarm systems where assigned, report suspicious activity, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Complete written and/or electronic reports, patrol logs, and incident statements, and coordinate with local responders when requested by site leadership.
