Requirements

Be at least 21+ years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
Monitor entrances, lobbies, and restricted areas, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and/or the reporting of suspicious behavior.
Support daily operations at the location by communicating with staff, documenting security-related events, and assisting during medical and/or facility-related emergencies as directed.
