As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and leadership, and respond to requests with customer-focused service. Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in and/or deliveries, and directing individuals to appropriate locations per site procedures.
• Complete routine reports such as shift activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership, and support investigations by preserving observations and any available evidence per policy.
