As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor grounds and key areas through routine patrols and a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet associates and drivers, communicate clearly with site leaders, document observations, and respond to requests with a people-first mindset. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and personnel by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or policy concerns.
  • Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, managing visitor and driver check-in, and documenting deliveries, pickups, and/or gate activity per site requirements.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to the appropriate contacts, and support shift turnover with clear pass-down information.
