As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report findings through required documentation and notification channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor access control points including gates, doors, and credential checks as assigned, and assist with contractor and delivery check-in according to site requirements.
• Complete routine security-related reports and logs, communicate observed conditions to site contacts, and support incident follow-up as directed.
