As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and help to discourage security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points by checking identification, verifying visitor authorization, issuing badges, and directing deliveries and contractors according to location procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Document patrols, observations, and incidents in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant updates to oncoming officers and site contacts.
