As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor cultural institutions and commercial real estate locations through routine foot and/or vehicle-area rounds, access control support, and visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams and visitors, and respond to concerns with a customer service mindset. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for cultural and commercial property locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, public spaces, and tenant or gallery areas, providing directions and assisting with general inquiries while watching for unusual conditions and/or maintenance concerns.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate pertinent updates during shift briefings and post turnover.
