Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting them through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter access points, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and delivery traffic to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and adherence to site protocols.
Assist with observing operational areas for potential hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity, and communicate concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
