As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Support in ORLANDO, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. This part-time role offers schedule flexibility through the Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government aviation location, responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining visibility to deter security incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff. The role emphasizes agility, reliability, and integrity within a caring, innovative team.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, roadways, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, employee, and/or vendor activity in accordance with location policies.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal leadership, site contacts, and/or local public service partners regarding security-related concerns, incidents, and observed hazards or maintenance issues.
