About The Position

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to questions and/or concerns with strong customer service, and communicate clearly with site teams. At Allied Universal, you will bring agility and reliability to each shift, working as one team while acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of food and beverage production areas, storage spaces, break areas, offices, and perimeter locations such as parking areas and walkways, as permitted by site policy.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, following visitor and/or vendor sign-in procedures, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.
  • Complete shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and/or maintenance observations using required systems while maintaining confidentiality of site information.
