As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to needs with a customer-service mindset. Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site representatives and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification and/or badges, directing visitors, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete required reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management, and support security-related investigations when requested.
