As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and providing exceptional customer service, contributing to a welcoming environment. With a focus on teamwork, integrity, and putting people first, you'll play an important part in supporting a secure atmosphere for all who visit or work at the property.

Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations according to site requirements.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a welcoming and secure environment for all occupants of the property.
