Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent
• Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Perform security services through interaction with the public, patients, and employees.
• Provide security at specific locations and respond to security issues.
• Provide access assistance as requested and report suspicious circumstances and emergencies.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Ensure the safety of the public, patients, employees, and property of AdventHealth.
• Support all department/organization policies and administrative decisions.
• Perform all security related tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
• Acknowledge and respond to alarms, determine source of alarm and provide proper assistance.
• Learn applicable systems and respond to safety needs as directed by Security leadership.
• Properly utilize and maintain all issued and operated equipment.
• Operate radio equipment, know and understand radio codes, and comply with all applicable laws and department policies and procedures.
• Interact with the public, customers, and other officers in a professional manner and provide assistance as directed.
• Assist and help coordinate special events.
