As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and provide customer-focused assistance to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying delivery and/or pickup information, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and directing traffic flow when needed.
  • Complete routine reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions to support consistent security-related operations.
