As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support smooth daily operations. You will monitor access points, report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with team members and site leaders. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, parking lots, perimeter fencing, and loading dock zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and drivers, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing traffic flow in and around dock doors and yard areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching appropriate notifications and assisting with incident documentation.
• Observe and report security-related concerns such as open doors, broken seals, suspicious packages, and/or equipment or property damage, and communicate findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
