You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Staff access control points by greeting visitors, confirming identification and/or credentials, managing visitor sign-in, and directing people to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, control access to restricted areas, and help to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior common areas, storefront corridors, and exterior perimeter areas as required by post orders; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
