Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors. You will help manage access, verify credentials, answer questions, document security-related activity, and support incident reporting using a computer or tablet. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, drivers, and vendors, answering phones, and supporting a professional lobby and entry experience.
  • Manage access control by verifying identification, issuing temporary badges as directed, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and monitoring sign-in and sign-out activity.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, identify unusual activity, and communicate concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, complete detailed reports, and escalate issues to appropriate contacts as needed.
