As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, track visitors and deliveries, and maintain clear logs. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, communicate concerns promptly, and provide welcoming customer service to team members and guests. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Control access to a food and beverage production and/or distribution location by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badging, and directing authorized guests to the appropriate areas.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, gates, and/or dock areas, documenting arrivals and departures and reporting irregular activity according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, conflicts, and/or policy violations through the proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeter checks and common areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
