As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, utilize technology such as alarm panels and access control systems, and contribute to a positive atmosphere through teamwork and integrity. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and/or activities as required by site procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at all times.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
