As a driving unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access points and visitor flow. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and guests, and respond to alarms and service requests with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, checking credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to site contacts.
• Complete timely security-related reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information during post and shift transitions.
