As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will interact with staff and drivers with strong customer service and clear communication, using computer or tablet tools as needed. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific procedures, access control policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and report unusual activity such as unauthorized entry attempts, damaged fencing or doors, suspicious vehicles, and/or unsecured freight areas, following post orders for escalation.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by checking credentials, managing visitor and driver sign-in, and/or controlling entry points in accordance with site policies.
