Security Officer Part Time Driver

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Louisville, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Requirements
- EMT certification is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policy, and report access-related issues, policy violations, and maintenance concerns.
- Support site operations by communicating professionally with employees and contractors, following post orders, and completing required reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and daily security-related operations.
