As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will support day-to-day security-related operations by coordinating officer response, monitoring alarm and access control activity, managing radio and phone communications, and documenting incidents. You will be a calm, customer-focused point of contact for tenants and visitors, using teamwork and integrity while staying agile, reliable, and innovative in a fast-paced control environment.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to building tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate the dispatch center by monitoring alarms, access control events, and camera systems; receive calls for assistance and route requests to the appropriate on-site personnel.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents, service requests, and communications; document key details and escalate notifications per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate radio and/or phone communications to help support timely response.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter as directed; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
