As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible, respond to questions and/or concerns with outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and your team. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial property by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuations, medical calls, disturbances, and fire and/or intrusion alarm activations per post orders.
- Control access and conduct security-related screening as required, including verifying identification, managing visitor and vendor check-in, and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
- Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate timely updates to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
