As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate and residential locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and routine patrols. Requirements

• A guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential and commercial property areas, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or property damage through visible presence and routine observation.
• Support daily property operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, hazards, and/or unusual activity to the appropriate contacts in a timely manner.
