As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist with access control and visitor guidance, respond to calls for service, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the building perimeter, with working conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management processes such as greeting, directing, and verifying authorization per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete routine documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and pass-down notes, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
