As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and support access control and badge processes while documenting security-related activity using a computer and/or tablet. You will also deliver customer-focused assistance and clear communication to staff and visitors. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe for irregular conditions, and communicate issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance to staff and visitors and/or contacting emergency services when required by post orders.
• Complete required reports such as patrol logs, incident documentation, and shift notes, and participate in briefings and/or training related to site procedures.
