As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy food and beverage location, you will support access control by greeting employees and visitors, verifying credentials, managing badges, and logging entries and exits. You will remain visible, conduct routine checks of assigned areas, and communicate clearly to help identify and report security-related concerns. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific access procedures and security-related protocols at a food and beverage production location.
• Control entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining logs for people, deliveries, and service providers to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Screen and route incoming deliveries and outbound shipments according to post orders, coordinating with site personnel for dock access, trailer checks, and restricted-area entry as assigned.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and emergency services as directed by procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance hazards and/or suspicious activity.
