About The Position

The Security Officer position at Securitas is designed to help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, including patrolling various locations. Security Officers are responsible for preserving order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site, which includes personnel, visitors, and the area. They frequently provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Standard computer/technology skills needed.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Great attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Ability to respond effectively during emergency or stressful situations.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs, with occasional running or sprinting.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills for handling customer-related situations.
• Verifiable work history.
• Reliable means of transportation with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Must meet state licensing requirements.
• Must possess or be willing to acquire a valid NJ State Security SORA License.
