Job Description As a Security Officer - Parking Structure Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear, professional communication. You will document observations, respond to requests, and partner with site teams to keep operations moving smoothly. Requirements

• 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorization as directed, and reporting suspicious or unusual behavior to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident reports, communicate status updates to appropriate contacts, and support security-related screenings and/or special events as assigned.
