You will remain a visible presence, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and communicate clearly with team members and visitors while documenting activity and responding to issues. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access Control and/or Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • X‐Ray Screening Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics distribution location.
  • Conduct entry screening for personnel and property, including monitoring walk-through screening equipment and/or hand-wand screening, inspecting bags and parcels, and verifying required credentials in accordance with site procedures.
  • Control access at designated checkpoints by logging entries and exits, confirming appointments and/or delivery paperwork, and directing individuals to the appropriate staging or check-in areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision and completing required documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols near entrances, screening areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
