Job Description As a Security Officer - Overnight Vehicle Patrol in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role includes conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all staff and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and observe for any unusual activity.
Maintain awareness of the environment and report any security-related concerns or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as needed within the healthcare setting.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal's protocols and client requirements.
