Job Description As a Airport Security Officer - Parking Patrol Unit in Kahului, HI , you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Help to deter unauthorized activities by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or security-related issues.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing information and directions as needed while upholding security-related protocols.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency responders when necessary.
