About The Position

As a Security Officer - Overnight Residential Mobile Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential communities, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for residents. This is a driving post, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post and is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents that may occur on or near the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and/or staff while representing Allied Universal.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding all security-related activities, incidents, and/or observations during the shift.
