Job Description As a Security Officer - Nighttime Foot Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and deliver customer service through clear communication with tenants, visitors, and your team. Requirements

Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of building common areas, tenant spaces as directed, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and/or credentials when required, and document access and key control activity per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and property damage to the appropriate contacts.
Complete detailed written reports and shift logs, including patrol observations, incident details, and follow-up actions, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.
