About The Position

As a Security Officer - Overnight Patrol Full-Time in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, support access control, respond to alarms, and document security-related activity. Your visible presence may help to reduce incidents while you deliver customer-focused assistance and clear communication. Requirements

• Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, offices, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter points, documenting irregularities and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access control points, check identification and/or visitor credentials, issue visitor badges, and help manage contractor and delivery traffic in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed shift activity logs and incident reports, and use cameras and other security-related systems to help identify unusual activity and support investigations.
