About The Position

As a Security Officer - Overnight Control Access in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role calls for strong communication and customer service while working as part of a team. At Allied Universal, you will bring agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card is required.
Must possess Government Secret Clearance
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a professional aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed, helping to support controlled entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries.
Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders when needed to relay incident details, request assistance, and support security-related operations.
