Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and check-out processes, and directing guests in accordance with property policies.
  • Answer phones, greet arriving personnel and visitors, and communicate with building management and/or site contacts regarding routine concerns, incidents, or requests for assistance.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and escalating issues through established communication channels.
  • Support a professional front desk presence at a technology-focused location by observing activity in the lobby and reception areas and reporting unusual or suspicious behavior to help to deter unwanted activity.
