About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Arlington, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive-related location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
This is primarily a driving post.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and/or vehicle movement in accordance with site policies for an automotive finance location.
Support site operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and by assisting with traffic flow, entry control, and other assigned security-related duties.
