About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Government in Everett, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to all individuals onsite. This driving post allows you to engage with the public and support access control needs, all while working within a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, suspicious activity, or property damage.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or members of the public while performing patrol duties.
  • Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as any site-specific requirements, during patrols and while responding to incidents.
