Job Description As a Security Officer - Dispatch Desk in Niskayuna, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities. You will communicate with team members, manage incident reports, and help to deter security-related incidents through proactive oversight. Requirements

Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage incoming calls and radio communications to coordinate security-related responses within the manufacturing and industrial location.
Dispatch Allied Universal personnel to incidents, emergencies, and service calls as required by site-specific procedures.
Document and maintain detailed records of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points through security-related systems such as cameras and alarms.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
Communicate information clearly and calmly during critical situations to support a problem-solving approach.
Support Allied Universal team members by relaying information and coordinating resources during security-related incidents.
Follow all site-specific policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
