RESPONSIBILITIES: The Security Officer will ensure the safety and security of persons and CEF property. They will respond to emergency and non-emergency situations or conditions and provide assistance or take actions appropriate to the situation within the legal limits of Campus Safety/Security authority. This position requires security surveillance of Culver Academies, including campus patrol by foot, bicycle, or vehicle, checking and securing buildings, investigating reports of suspicious activities, and striving towards a safe, crime-free campus environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- must be at least 21 years old
- must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license with a good driving record
- be willing to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and special events
- Emergency Medical training is not required for employment, but the applicant will be required to complete training as soon as possible.
