Job Description As a Security Officer - Office Park Patrol in Corpus Christi, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm, professional communication. You will document observations, support property staff and visitors with customer-focused service, and contribute to a caring, integrity-driven team that values reliability, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

Have 1+ years of security experience.
Be able to lift more than 20 lbs, preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Have customer service experience, preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting appropriate resources as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, parking areas, loading docks, stairwells, and the property perimeter as assigned.
Monitor access points and help manage visitor and contractor entry consistent with site procedures, including verifying credentials and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to property management and/or dispatch according to post orders.
Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation in a timely manner.
Assist with alarm activations and after-hours checks, including verifying doors, gates, and other controlled areas are secured per site procedures.
Support tenant move-ins, move-outs, and deliveries by maintaining order at designated areas and coordinating with property staff as directed.
Communicate professionally with Allied Universal supervision, site contacts, and/or local responders when required, using radios, phones, and/or other approved systems.
Follow all site-specific instructions related to public areas, amenities, and special events, helping to maintain an orderly environment throughout the location.
