You will conduct routine rounds, document observations, respond to alarms and calls for service, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Control access at building entrances and/or vehicle gates, including checking credentials, verifying visitor authorization, and directing deliveries to designated areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards such as unsecured doors or damaged fencing.
  • Complete detailed reports on shift activity, incidents, and inspections, and monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control for unusual activity.
