As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance needs found during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
- Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns at the location.
- Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific guidelines.
